How To Wax Your Face
‘Let’s Face It’ Facial Wax Kit
1. Place the wax beads in the heater inside the silicone jar and heat.
2. Prep your skin by applying Mylee 2-in-1 Pre & Post Wax Oil on the area you’ll be waxing.
3. After heating the wax, test the temperature on the inside of your wrist. The wax should be comfortably warm, not hot.
4. Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth for facial hair, like your upper lip, brows, chin, or ears. For waxing your nose, dip the supplied applicator into the wax inside the heater and insert it into your nostril.
5. Let the wax cool and harden.
6. Firmly pull the wax against the direction of hair growth, or pull the applicator out of your nostril
7. After waxing, apply the 2-in-1 Pre & Post Wax Oil to moisturise your skin and remove any remaining wax residue.
FAQs
You should wait until the wax has cooled, which should only take less than a minute. The wax should be warm, not hot, so cooling shouldn’t take long.
You should remove any makeup, skincare, or SPF before waxing your face. Anything moisturising, including natural oils on your skin, can stop the wax from grabbing your hair. So yes, washing with a gentle cleanser is recommended.
You can use the Let’s Face It Wax Kit on your upper lip, chin, eyebrows, ears, and nostrils. Essentially, anywhere you want to remove hair from your face, this kit is great for the job.
You can, but we’d recommend waiting for your skin to settle down before applying any products. Applying makeup immediately after waxing may cause irritation, so give your skin a little break before adding any products – around 24 hours is recommended.
