    How To Apply

    STEP 1. PREP & PRIME
    File your nails to shape and use a Mylee Buffing Block* to gently remove shine from the nail plate. This creates the ideal surface for better adhesion. Push back cuticles for a clean edge, then cleanse nails with Mylee 2-in-1 Nail Prep & Wipe* on a Lint-Free Wipe* to remove oils and residue. If you’re prone to lifting, apply the Mylee Dehydrator* followed by the Mylee Acid-Free Primer*.

    STEP 2. BASE
    Apply a thin layer of your chosen Mylee Base Coat* and cure for 60 seconds using a Mylee LED Lamp*.

    STEP 3. COLOUR & CHROME
    Brush on your favourite Mylee Gel Polish* shade and cure for 60 seconds. Build up the opacity in thin coats, curing each layer for a smooth, even finish. For a true chrome effect, we recommend using a black base such as Mylee Witching Hour Gel Polish*.

    Apply a layer of Mylee No-Wipe Top Coat* and cure for 60 seconds. Then take your Cushion Powder Pen and dip the cushion into the lid. Buff the powder over the nail in circular motions until you achieve your desired chrome finish.

    For chrome nail art, gently buff the shine from your cured gel colour using a Mylee Buffer Block*, then paint your design with Mylee No-Wipe Top Coat* and cure. When you buff in the powder, it will only stick where the No-Wipe Top Coat has been applied.

    STEP 4. TOP COAT & FINISH
    To lock in your chrome colour, apply a layer of Mylee Base Coat* over the powder, followed by a final layer of Mylee No-Wipe Top Coat*, curing each layer for 60 seconds. Wash your hands, apply Mylee Nail & Cuticle Oil*, moisturise, and enjoy your chrome mani.

    Pro tip: Our chrome pens are perfect for nail art! Use a Sanding Buffer Block to take the shine off your chosen gel polish colour, apply your nail art design with the No Wipe Top Coat and cure. When you buff in the pigment, it will only stick to the No Wipe Top and create a stunning pattern! Be sure to use Top Coat again to seal in the powder and your design. The chrome effect will vary depending on the gel polish colour you use underneath. For a true chrome colour to shine, we recommend using over our Witching Hour Gel Polish. If you apply over a lighter or nude shade, you'll get a gorgeous iridescent finish! The powder applies best to a nail that’s straight from the curing lamp, so you might want to work on 2-3 nails at a time. To lock in your chrome colour and stop it from rubbing off over time, add Base Coat over the chrome, before your final No Wipe Top Coat to lock it in.
