Collection: Builder Gel Base & Top Coats

Clear 5-In-1 Builder Gel goes straight onto prepped nails, so no separate base coat is needed underneath it. Want more colour and opacity? Cure one layer of Clear 5-In-1 first, then build up with Super Pigment Builder Gel over it, curing each layer for the full 99 seconds under your Mylee LED lamp. Once it's cured, seal with a top coat: a No Wipe Top Coat gives a glassy, high-shine finish straight from the lamp, while a Top Coat Gel Polish gives the same protection with a light wipe to finish. Neither is objectively best. It comes down to the finish you want.

Getting started, especially with weak or first-time nails

There's no single bundled builder gel starter kit. Clear 5-In-1 Builder Gel (or Super Pigment Builder Gel for colour) and a top coat are everything you need to begin, with no separate base coat required. Builder gel adds rigid strength, which suits nails that are prone to breaking or that you want to build a little length on. If your nails are soft or bendy, not weak, a Rubber Base Coat gives the flex builder gel doesn't. If they're genuinely weak or damaged, start with the Double Bond Nail Treatment first. Gel shouldn't go over damaged nails.
