Soft gel tips, the easy way to length
Soft gel tips are pre-shaped, full-cover tips made from flexible gel. Because they're applied with gel and cured under a lamp, they bond seamlessly and feel lighter and more natural than traditional plastic tips, with none of the harsh filing of acrylic. They're a great starting point if you want length without a full builder-gel sculpt.
Applying and finishing
Prep and size your tips, apply the gel, press on and flash-cure under a Mylee LED lamp, then shape and add colour or nail art on top. Finish with a top coat for shine and seal. For extra strength or a bit more structure, a layer of builder gel works underneath your colour.

How do I apply Fix 'N' Flash Tips?
After following your typical nail prep routine of pushing back your cuticles, filing, buffing and cleansing your nail plate, you should...
- Apply a small amount of Fix 'N' Flash Gel to your nail and the soft gel tip.
- Firmly place the gel nail extension on your natural nail, making sure there aren't any bubbles or gel on the skin around your nail.
- Flash cure for 15 seconds (LED lamp or Fix ‘N’ Flash Torch) or 30 seconds (UV lamp) while still pressing down.
- After that, cure your nails for the regular 60 seconds (LED lamp) or 120 seconds (UV lamp).
How do I remove gel nail extensions?
To remove your gel extensions...
- Cut down your soft gel tips using The Shortie nail extension clipper and buff the gel polish on your nails using a Half Moon Nail File.
- Soak a nail wipe in Gel Remover or 100% Acetone, securing it with a Gel Polish Soak Off Clip or foil.
- After 10-15 minutes, remove your wrap and use a Gel Scraper to gently push the polish and tip from your nail plate. You can repeat this process if you have any tough spots that won't come off.
- Once your nails are polish-free, thoroughly wash your hands, and hydrate with some cuticle oil.
