We recommend using both a base coat and top coat for the best results. The base coat will help your polish adhere to your nails, and the top coat will seal in your colour.
A base coat should always be applied first, followed by your gel colour polish, then finally a top coat. Be sure to cure each coat with an LED or UV lamp. This will help ensure that your manicure lasts longer when the polish is fully dry.
Our Base and Top Coat Gel Polishes can last for up to 3 weeks with proper prep and application.
Your mani won't last anywhere near as long if you just go straight in with the colour without a base coat. The base coat acts as a protective barrier for your nails, preventing staining and helping the gel polish adhere better. Without it, your mani may chip or peel off more easily (and definitely won't last as long as 3 weeks!).
