Pro tip:

    Step By Step Guide

    Prep

    1. Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles and if necessary, apply the Mylee Cuticle Remover to remove any dead skin.

    2. Shape the free edge of your nails with a file and remove the shine from the nail plate with a buffing block.

    • 3. Cleanse the nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in Mylee Prep & Wipe to remove any oil and residue on the nails so that the gel will adhere properly.
Pro tip: Make sure to remove any gel polish you accidentally get on your skin before curing underneath your Mylee nail lamp. You can do this by using an angled brush around your cuticles and nail area. This is really important for eliminating the risk of any skin reactions.

    Base

    4. Apply a Mylee Base Coat and cure your nails for 60 seconds using the Mylee Pro LED Lamp, or 120 seconds with the UV Lamp. Remove any gel on your skin before curing.

    Colour

    5. Apply one coat of your chosen Mylee Gel Polish and cure your nails exactly like you did for the base.

    6. Repeat to build up the colour.

Pro tip: Always cure your gel polish for the correct amount of time – 60 seconds under LED lamp or 120 seconds under the Mylee UV lamp. Cap the free edge of your nail to help wrap the gel polish around the edge of your nail and prevent chipping. Do this by simply running the brush along the edge of your nail to seal off the colour.

    Top coat

    7. Apply a Mylee Top Coat and cure your nails in the same way as before.

    8. If you’ve used a regular Top coat, remove the sticky layer by wiping the nails with a lint free wipe soaked in Mylee Prep & Wipe. The No Wipe Top Coat, however, will leave no residue after curing, so there’s no need to wipe.

    Finish

    9. Wash your hands, then apply Mylee Nail & Cuticle oil on the nails and cuticles to keep them nourished and hydrated. Voila, you’re all set!
