Step By Step Guide
STEP 1. PREP & PRIME
File nails to shape and use a Mylee Buffing Block* to gently remove shine from the nail plate. Wipe your nails with a dash of Mylee 2-in-1 Nail Prep & Wipe* on a Lint Free Wipe* to remove any oils. If you’re prone to lifting, apply the Mylee Dehydrator* followed by the Mylee Acid-Free Primer*.
Pro tip:
Make sure to remove any gel polish you accidentally get on your skin before curing underneath your Mylee nail lamp. You can do this by using an angled brush around your cuticles and nail area. This is really important for eliminating the risk of any skin reactions.
STEP 2. BASE COAT & CURE
Apply a thin layer of your chosen Mylee Base Coat* and cure for 60 seconds using a Mylee LED Lamp*.
STEP 3. COLOUR & CURE
Brush on your favourite Mylee Gel Polish shade and cure for 60 seconds. Build up the opacity in thin coats, curing each layer for a smooth, even finish. Don’t forget to cap the free edge by running some polish along the tip of your nail.
Pro tip:
Always cure your gel polish for the correct amount of time – 60 seconds under LED lamp or 120 seconds under the Mylee UV lamp. Cap the free edge of your nail to help wrap the gel polish around the edge of your nail and prevent chipping. Do this by simply running the brush along the edge of your nail to seal off the colour.
STEP 4. TOP COAT, CURE & FINISH
Apply the Mylee Top Coat* and cure for 60 seconds. If using a regular Top Coat, wipe away the tacky layer with 2-in-1 Nail Prep & Wipe* on a Lint-Free Wipe* after curing, or switch to Mylee No-Wipe Top Coat* to skip this step. Wash your hands, apply Mylee Nail & Cuticle Oil*, moisturise, and enjoy your salon-quality mani for up to 3 weeks!
