Sometimes, it's the simpler things in life that bring us the most joy. And we think the same goes for Christmas manis. If you're searching for subtle Christmas nail design inspiration, we've got lots of ideas that'll help you get in the holiday spirit.

Not everyone enjoys gimmicky or whimsical nails at this time of year. If you're more of an understated nail art fan, we've had a nosey at what celebs have been wearing and found some gorgeous festive manis that are anything but boring.

Taking it back to last Christmas, Kylie went for a subtle yet glam French tip mani in dark burgundy. Dark nail colours are set to be big again this Christmas, so we're definitely taking note of this look for this year.

Another French mani, you ask? Sure, why not! Hailey Bieber has chosen a cherry red nail polish for the tips of her nails and a clear nude base. Of course, red is a classic Christmas nail colour, so it’s no surprise it’s making an appearance.

To achieve the red shade, we recommend our French Cancan Gel Polish – it matches that same fiery undertone as seen on Hailey's nails.

Chrome nails at Christmastime are always a classic, and Shay Mitchell's mani is exactly what we're envisioning. A shimmery silver chrome look is perfect to take you from day to night and is definitely not over the top.

For the green chrome stars, we recommend using our Cushion Powder Pen in Dragon Egg. Use a nail art brush dipped in a black gel polish to draw the star nail art onto your Builder Gel base.

Once you've flash cured, take your nail art brush and dip it into your No Wipe Top Coat, tracing over the black stars you've just drawn. Flash cure again. Buff the chrome pigment from the pen into the top coat, and you'll be left with a beautiful chrome star look!
