Green Christmas Nail Designs for 2023:
1) Turquoise Green Glitter Nails
We're starting off strong with this set of glitter turquoise gel nails. The turquoise base has a deep, silky finish that allows the glitter to really pop under the light, and the white wavy lines add a little something extra.
How to Recreate Our Turquoise Green Nails
Step 1) Prep your nails following our recommended steps to ensure your nails are ready for applying the gel polish.
Step 3) Apply the Bauble Gel Polish over the cured base coat and cure again. We recommend applying 2-3 layers to build up opacity and make the turquoise shade pop – remembering to cure in between each layer.
Step 4) Dip your nail art brush into Break The Ice, picking up a small amount of the polish. Create the wavy lines over the turquoise base colour, drawing a combination of thick and thin waves. The key is to create the lines in one swoop, and clean up the line edges after.
Step 5) Once you're happy with your nail art, cure under your LED Lamp.
Step 6) Finish by applying a layer of your chosen Top Coat (we recommend our No Wipe Top Coat) and cure once more.
Step 7) Add a drop of Sweet Almond Nail & Cuticle Oil to your nails for nourishment.
2) Glitter Green Tip Christmas Nails
French tips are a favourite here at Mylee, and we love these glitter green French tips. The emerald green shade embodies the true essence of Christmas and complements every skin tone beautifully.
We've also added dainty snowflake nail art, which helps create the perfect winter look.
How to Recreate Our Green French Tips
Step 1) After prepping your nails, apply a layer of Base Coat Gel Polish and cure under our Pro LED Lamp for 30-60 seconds.
Step 2) Apply a swipe of Trapeze Artist to the surface of the Stamp It Out stamper, and place the tip of your nail into the polish on the cushion at a 45-degree angle. To get the curved French tip look, roll your nail as you stamp.
Step 3) Gently pull your nail from the stamper and cure under your LED Lamp again.
Step 4) For the snowflake nail art, use your Dotting Tool to create small white dots with Break The Ice. Create 3 rows of 3 dots to create a square, and use the Nail Art Brush to connect the dots. We've chosen to create these snowflake designs over the green French tips on the ring fingernail and thumbnail – but you can definitely switch it up!
Step 5) Cure your snowflake designs under the LED Lamp.
Step 6) Apply a layer of Top Coat to seal in your design and cure for a final time.
3) Bauble Christmas Nail Design
Green and gold is a classic Christmas combo, and we've spruced it up with this simple nail art design. We've opted for baubles and snowflakes to embrace the festive season, and it turned out stunning!
How to Recreate Our Green & Gold Christmas Nails
Step 1) Prep your nails by pushing back your cuticles, buffing, cleansing and dehydrating your nail plate ready for gel polish application.
Step 2) Apply a layer of Base Coat and cure under our LED Lamp for 30-60 seconds.
Step 3) Take Gold Digger and apply to your entire pinky fingernail, and create two bauble shapes on your ring and middle fingernail.
Step 4) Cure under your nail lamp for the same length time.
Step 5) Next, apply Trapeze Artist to your entire thumbnail and create a French tip on your index fingernail.
Step 6) Use the same polish to create another bauble shape on top of the Gold Digger shade on your middle and ring fingernails. Cure under your lamp.
Step 7) Create the snowflake nail art design by dipping your Dotting Tool into Break The Ice and connecting the dots together using the Nail Art Brush, following the same steps we laid out in the previous look.
Step 8) Cure under your LED lamp for 30-60 seconds again.
Step 9) Apply a Top Coat to finish and cure a final time.
4) Dark Green Christmas Nails
If you're looking for something a little more simple or need a quick gel mani for a last-minute party, our Green Velvet Gel Polish shade is the one. It's a deep, rich green that looks incredible when worn by itself.
You can also do some extra green Christmas nail art if you have the time, but the shade alone is enough to make a statement.
How to Recreate Our Dark Green Christmas Nails
|Products you'll need to recreate the look: Green Velvet Gel Polish, Base Coat Gel Polish, Top Coat Gel Polish|
Step 1) After prepping your nails, apply a Base Coat layer and cure under our LED Lamp for 30-60 seconds.
Step 2) Take your Green Velvet Polish and glide over your entire nail. Cure under the lamp again.
Step 3) Apply a layer of Top Coat, curing once more for a glossy finish.
Top tip: To build up the opacity and make the colour pop, apply 2-3 layers of Green Velvet, curing in between each layer for 30-60 seconds.
5) Asymmetrical Green French Tips
We love putting a twist on a classic look, and these asymmetrical French tips do just that. By moving the tip to one side of the nail, it creates an elegant and modern nail art design.
We've used the same Bauble Gel Polish for the tip, but you can mix it up with any other green from our range.
How to Recreate Our Asymmetrical Green French Tips
Step 1) Once you've prepped your nails, attach a paper form to your nails and glide the Builder Gel over your entire nail, extending the tip to your desired length.
Step 2) Cure under your Pro LED Lamp for 60 seconds.
Step 3) Build up strength by applying multiple thin layers – we recommend 2 or 3 in total – and remember to cure in between each layer for a further 60 seconds.
Step 5) Dip your Nail Art Brush into the Bauble Gel Polish and apply the shade to one side of your nail tip. We've also kept a slight curve to the tip, but you can create a straight line or any other shape you desire.
Step 6) Cure for 30-60 seconds.
Step 7) Finish with a layer of Top Coat and cure once more.
6) Simple Green & Gold Christmas Nails
We've got another fix of green and gold Christmas nails, but this time we're keeping it super simple.
How to Recreate Our Green & Gold Christmas Nails
Step 1) After nail prep, apply your Fix 'N' Flash tips following our recommended steps. Donna has used our Short Square tips for this look, but you can also choose from our range of other shapes and lengths if you prefer.
Step 2) Once applied, take the Abyss Gel Polish and glide over your entire nail. Cure for 30-60 seconds under our Pro LED Lamp.
Step 3) Dip your Dotting Tool into Gold Digger, and create 2 dots going down the centre of your nail by gently tapping the tool onto your nail, as in Donna's design.
Step 4) Flash cure under your lamp for 15 seconds.
Step 5) Apply a layer of No Wipe Top Coat to your nails and finish by curing for a final time.

Is green a popular nail colour for Christmas?
Green gel polish is always a popular choice for Christmas nails, as it reflects the traditional colours of the holiday season. There are lots of different green shades to choose from, including emerald, forest, and mint – all of which you can find in our green gel polish collection.
What shade of green is best for classic Christmas nails?
Our Green Velvet Gel Polish shade is a timeless classic for Christmas nails. It's a dark forest green polish with an emerald hue that looks stunning when worn alone or paired with other Christmas nail colours. Or, for a green glitter polish, our Dollar Signs Gel Polish is a must-have. This khaki shade is scattered with fine gold glitter – perfect for adding a touch of sparkle to your holiday nails.
What colour gel polish goes with green?
For Christmas, we recommend pairing your green gel polishes with gold and silver glitter, browns, and nudes. If you want to go for traditional Christmas colours, red and white gel polishes are the best combo.
Does green gel polish complement all skin tones?
Green gel polish is a versatile colour that suits all skin tones. Emerald greens look great on fairer skin, while darker greens like forest and khaki can be more flattering for medium to dark skin tones. Ultimately, it's all about personal preference – so go with the shade that makes you feel most confident and gets you in the holiday spirit.
