Mylee gel nail wraps are made from 100% real gel polish that has been fully cured and are ready to wear straight out of the pack. They’re not printed paper or vinyl like standard nail stickers.
Each wrap uses a 12-layer system: an adhesive layer, 2 base coat layers, 7 colour layers, and 2 protective top coat layers. This is why they deliver the same high-gloss, hard-wearing finish as a salon gel manicure rather than the flatter appearance of conventional stickers. Mylee offers more than 100 colours and designs of gel nail strips, featuring a wide variety of colours and patterns to suit every style.
Should I use a Top Coat or UV/LED Lamp on top of Mylee Gel Nail Wraps?
No. A lamp is neither required nor recommended to cure the wraps themselves; they’re already fully cured during manufacturing. Mylee Gel Nail Wraps are designed for easy at-home application and do not require a UV/LED lamp or a Top Coat to finish.
Can I cut or customise the shape of the wraps before applying them?
In short, yes. We recommend trimming the wraps once they are applied to your nails for the most accurate result.
Cuticle area: You can use nail scissors to trim the wrap to perfectly fit your cuticle shape during the application process.
Free edge: Do not trim the free edge of the wrap before application, as this can interfere with the bond and final finish.
Refining shape: Once the wrap is pressed down, use a Mylee nail file in one direction to remove any excess and smooth the edge.
