Getting full colour from a soft shade

Pastels tend to be sheerer than a standard creme, so two to three thin coats over a base coat give the fullest colour, sealed with a top coat for up to 3 weeks. Pastels are especially popular in spring and summer, but a muted lavender or sage works just as well year-round. Pair with a French tip or fine nail art for a delicate finishing touch.
